Twinkle-Sprinkle - ein Cowl/ Loop aus Paillettengarn

Dieses tolle Glitzergarn mit Pailletten - Rico Galaxy dk in der Farbe "Eden" habe ich beim Weihnachtswichteln geschenkt bekommen und bin ganz verzückt. Zusammen mit einem gut abgelagerten unifarbenen Rödel-Sockengarn Extrastark habe ich es zu einem "Simple Sprinkle"-Loop verstrickt. Der wird mit verkürzten Reihen gemacht und ist sehr kurzweilig zu stricken, finde ich. Und von dem Ergebnis bin ich so entzückt, dass ich die Bestellung einer grösseren Menge dieses Garnes erwäge- gibt es bei unserem Rödel und auch online, z.B. hier >>

Love that yarn with the paillettes which I got in a Christmas swap! Want to do a garter stitch thing with short rows to emphazise the colour repeats - will only use 1 skein, no stripes.

Finished - and looove it! Decided to go for a well-aged sockyarn skein in purplish pink for stripes for some contrast - and otherwise it might have been too short. Really love the sparkles! Length is just fine, asuming it will strech a little. Did the Icord edging which I like- especially as you can just pull the ends through to hide them. Did not stick too much to the pattern, just combined short rows and stripes as I came to them. Used the ”Bumerangferse” short row Version to prevent holes, i.e. pulled over the stitch and knitted through both “legs” of that stitch in the next row.
