Komplexer als gedacht: Windwards Schal

Die Konstruktion gefiel mir auf den Projektfotos bei Ravelry, beim Preis hab ich erstmal gezuckt - fast 5 Euro für einen Schal? Es stellte sich aber heraus, dass die Anleitung recht komplex war und ihren Preis durchaus wert, finde ich.

Allerdings wäre es hilfreich gewesen, wenn die Strickerin, in diesem Fall MOI, sich auch an die Anleitung gehalten hätte und nicht nach zwei Zeilen gedacht hätte, sie habe alles im Griff - hatte sie nämlich nicht und hat einen kapitalen Bug eingebaut.

Ribbeln wollte ich aber nicht, das gute Stück sieht getragen auch so gut aus - in Britts schöner Färbung "So bunt wie das Leben" - irgendwann will ich mir daraus nochmal eine ganze Jacke oder sowas stricken - aber erst, nachdem der Weihnachtspullover, der Drops-Lima-Pullover und diverse andere Projekte fertig sind.

Saw this in other projects and liked how handpainted yarn looked. And also liked the unusual construction. Fun so far.
Well, definitely not “Just” a scarf and not mindless knitting. You have to read the instructions carefully to make sure you do not mess this up. And I did - as you can see in the total picture, messed up the last 3 sections. Well, I think it will be wearable, and I really like Britts yarn! Might do another one, but not too soon. Pattern is written very detailed and IF I read it carefully and followed it, I would have ended up with a perfect result. Thus, I am just not the type for perfect results, I guess…
