Allerdings habe ich das Motiv gespiegelt, weil sich die ansonsten sehr verziehen können. Und Gott sei Dank habe ich die Maschenzahl NICHT von 64 weiter reduziert - da es in jeder Runde Abnahmen gibt, sind die Socken wirklich nicht sehr dehnbar.
Würde ich sie nochmal stricken, würde ich das Motiv glaube ich nur auf der Vorderseite des Fußes stricken und hinten Rippen oder so.
Das Garn ist wieder von Supergarne, allerdings schon gut abgelagert, das Sonnengelb gibt es nicht mehr, glaube ich.
Pattern has been in my queue for ages, everybody else seems to have knit it, so I will give it a try.
Was tempted to reduce pattern repeat to 15 stitches which is normally enough but am glad I did not, as there a a lot of comments on how tight the pattern gets. Used the mirrored chart of frabbit and so far,it seems to stop the biasing. Looks nice, too, like little hearts or a staghorn cable. Not too content with this yarn - seems to be thinner than the pink one I knit before, the stitches seem to be irregular. Did a k2, p2 cuff for 12 rows.
Did my normal horseshoe heel and my normal toe, not the one given in the pattern.
Finished! Glad I did not reduce the number of stitches, the pattern is not very stretchy. Especially the heel-instep section - I barely get it over the heel, so if I do it again, I would either cast on more stitches or stop the pattern on the back of the leg app. 2-5 cm before starting the heel. Other than that, the pattern is really fun.
