Wolljacken im Hochsommer - dieses Jahr: Drops Karisma

Ich weiß, es ist jetzt nicht so die allercleverste Idee,  im Hochsommer eine am Stück zu strickende Jacke aus einem reinen Wollgarn anzuschlagen - aber ich hab im Drops-Mai-Sale, bei dem alle Wollgarne um 35% reduziert waren, zugeschlagen und da musste ich natürlich gleich anfangen..

Das Ganze ist ein RVO, bei dem ich mich grob an Wendy Bernards Anleitung orientiere. Das Lochmuster ist das Gull Lace aus Frau Zimmermanns February Baby Sweater.

Und bisher gefällte sie mir ganz gut, meine Seewind-Sommerjacke - vor allem die "geheatherte" Farbe gefällt mir sehr, sehr gut.




Tested the yarn for my Senfjanker and liked it so I will go for a whole cardigan - hope 10 skeins will be enough! Want to make a somehow squared neckline, but not as deep as in pattern, and add the gull lace pattern of February Lady Sweater, but on stockinette, not on garter. Will use the measurements of my Senfjanker as a guideline:
Width: 44 cm / 36 inches
Length: 57 cm/
Raglanlinie: 26 cm
5 stitches belowarms
Neckline depth: 20 cm
Back neck width: 16 cm
Gauge 22x29 instead of 20x28
i. e. stitchs factor 1,1
rows factor 1,03
May 23d: Finished 2nd ball of yarn and decided that 500 g of this yarn is not enough for a long sleeve cardigan that I had in mind, so ordered another 6 balls to be on the save side. I might not get the same batch, but well. I will probably not need it, now that I ordered it.. ;-)

May 24th Seperated sleeves shortly before running out of 3d ball of yarn. CO 11 stitches each under each underarm,.
June 2nd
Decreased 4x4 stitches at each side of side seams, then at 41 cm increase again, but more often, app. every 6th row.
