Welches Muster das sein soll, ist aber noch nicht raus, und so hab ich aus der Drops Safran, die ich noch liegen hatte, erstmal ordentlich Maschenproben gestrickt.
Derzeit tendiere ich zu dem mittleren Muster, also dem zweiten von links - das ist nämlich auch schön einfach, nur zwei Musterreihen. Das erste von rechts nach dem Bündchen, das Blattmuster von Gaia, gefällt mir zwar auch gut, aber da muss ich immer aufs Chart gucken, das ist mir zu anstrengend.
Beim Garn bin ich mir auch noch nicht sicher, ob es jetzt Drops Safran wird oder was anderes - ich hab auch noch mit Catania geswatcht, das gefällt mir auch recht gut. Ich weiß allerdi ngs noch nicht, ob mir der Glanz gefällt für das Projekt oder ob mir das zu viel wird. Die Safran ist ja eher matt, und farblich wird es auch eher was neutrales- entweder tatsächlich das Vanillegelb oder vielleicht ein helles Braun oder sowas...
Planning a short cardigan (waist length) with a lace pattern and quite fitted - similair to the Miette - but no Raglan, but set-in sleeves.
I also love this project -especially the fitted sleeves starting at the elbow.
Swatched with the Safran I had in my stash - not sure if I will use the Gaia pattern as the lace repeat is quite long and quite complicated (well, I have to look at the chart all the time and I do not like if I have to do that). Maybe a more ribbed lace would be better to make the cardigan a little more stretchy.
If I kept it in Safran,I would definitely have to go for 2.5 mm needles, too loose otherwise.
From my Safran swatch, I like the Gull lace and the Climbing vine Chart best.
Swatched with Catania as well in red - used 3 mm there. Also like the fishtail lace which I found in a stitch dictionary.
