Houdini-Socken: Üble Friemelei, die zweite

Die Knitmore-Girls, deren Podcast ich mit großer Begeisterung höre, schwören auf diese Art der Sockenkonstruktion, bei der zuerst der Fuß inkl. Spitze u. Sohle gestrickt wird, um dann an einer Soll-Bruchstelle oberhalb der Ferse Maschen für den Schaft aufzunehmen - so weit theoretisch logisch... Ich fand's aber übelst friemelig, alle Maschen aufzufangen beim "Sollbruchstelle öffnen" - hätte wohl vorher eine Lifeline einziehen sollen. Also, für mich wird es wohl bei dem einen Paar bleiben, nach jetzigem Stand der Dinge.

Heard about this on the Knitmoregirls Podcast and just have to try - however, will have to do this on 60% of stitches as 50% is not wide enough for my feet.
Will use this tutorial for the ripcord/ picking up stitches
Finished - I think this will be a one hit wonder… Found it tedious to take out the rip cord and pick up the live stitches - yeah, I should have used a lifeline… Although I did 40 stitches for the heel/leg pickup and decreased them in a gusset, I am not totally content with how they fit… a little too loose… Nevertheless, I like the colour combination.
